Imaan is a stranger

بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد

On the authority of Sufyaan al-Thawree رحمه الله that `Abdul `Azeez bin Rafee` narrated that Wahb Ibn Munabbih رحمه الله said:

al-Imaan is Ghareeb (strange - i.e. few people have it), its cloak is al-Taqwaa (God-consciousness), its beauty is al-Hayaa’ (bashfulness), and its wealth is al-Fiqh (religious understanding); and one should purify the intention in striving for it, so that he aims with it the Countenance of Allaah تعالى.”
